How we Support you • Provide round-the-clock care and supervision to ensure safety and well-being at all times.• Help develop essential life skills such as budgeting, housekeeping, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.• Offer emotional and practical support tailored to each young person’s individual circumstances.• Encourage ongoing education and vocational training to enhance future opportunities.• Assist with the transition to more independent living, including preparing for move-on accommodation.• Monitor and address any concerns related to mental health, substance use, or safeguarding to ensure a positive and supportive living environment.
Who Is This Service For? Our service is specifically designed for young people aged 16-17 who require a supportive and structured living environment. Referrals typically come from local authorities, social care services, and educational institutions, though we also accept self-referrals and referrals from families. At Lamora Healthcare, we are dedicated to offering a safe and nurturing environment where young people can develop, learn, and prepare for their futures with confidence. We support: • Young people exhibiting challenging behaviours, including those with a history of drug or alcohol misuse, violence, persistent offending, and mental health needs. • Care leavers, from rising 16-year-olds to those post-18. • Vulnerable young individuals aged 16 to 17. • Young asylum seekers aged 16 to 17. • Young adults aged 18 and over with mental health needs. • Expectant mothers and parents with children. • Young individuals involved in gang-related activities. • Victims of child sexual exploitation. Our tailored approach ensures that each young person receives the support and guidance needed to overcome personal challenges and move forward positively.
