Our Service At Lamora Healthcare Ltd, we provide supported accommodation for young people aged 16 to 25, creating a safe and structured environment where you can begin to shape your future with confidence. Our homes are designed to offer stability, comfort, and practical support as you navigate key stages of independence. Our service is not just about providing a roof over your head — it’s about offering personalised guidance, emotional encouragement, and the opportunity to learn and grow in a setting that respects your background, identity, and aspirations. Each of our placements is staffed by experienced and compassionate support workers who operate on a structured shift basis to ensure continuity, consistency, and reliability. We work closely with local authorities, personal advisers, and multi-agency professionals to ensure that your placement is part of a bigger plan — one focused on your wellbeing, independence, and long-term success.
How we Support you From the moment you join us, we take the time to get to know you — your story, your challenges, and your goals. Every young person at Lamora Healthcare receives an individual support plan, developed with you and your social worker or personal adviser. This plan is reviewed regularly to make sure it remains relevant and achievable. We support you through: Practical Life Skills – including budgeting, paying bills, maintaining a tenancy, cooking, cleaning, and managing daily routines. Education, Training & Employment Support – help with enrolling in college, applying for jobs or apprenticeships, and building your CV. Health & Wellbeing – promoting emotional and physical wellbeing through structured routines, keywork sessions, and signposting to local services. Social Inclusion – encouraging community involvement, hobbies, social skills, and access to local youth services and activities. Preparation for Independence – empowering you to move on from supported accommodation with the skills and confidence to live independently. 24/7 On-Call Support – while we do not offer waking night staff, our on-call system means help and guidance are always within reach. We work with you, not just for you. You’re at the centre of everything we do.
Who Is This Service For? Our supported accommodation is for young people aged 16 to 25 who are either: - Looked-after by the local authority, or - Leaving care and continuing their journey to independence. We also support Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) aged 16–17 who are in care, and those who have become care leavers. All placements are made through local authority referrals. Our service is specifically designed for young people who need a safe, structured, and supportive place to build life skills, grow in confidence, and prepare for adulthood. We work closely with social workers, personal advisers, and other professionals to make sure every young person gets the care, respect, and tailored support they deserve.
