Supported Housing

Supported Housing

  • Supported Housing Overview

Supported housing provides individuals with a safe and stable environment where they can receive the assistance they need to live independently. It is designed for people who may struggle to live on their own without help, including those with mental health needs, learning disabilities, or physical disabilities. The aim is to offer both accommodation and tailored support, enabling residents to build the skills necessary for independent living while maintaining their well-being.

Support varies based on individual needs, from help with daily activities, such as cooking and cleaning, to more intensive care like managing personal health and finances. Supported housing provides a crucial stepping stone towards full independence while ensuring that individuals are part of a caring community.

Supported Accommodation for 16+

At Lamora Healthcare, we are in the process of working on our Ofsted registration to expand our supported accommodation services for young people aged 16 and over. Our supported accommodation is designed to offer a secure, nurturing environment where young individuals can receive the care and support they need as they prepare for independent living.

With 24/7 supervision, we provide personalised care tailored to the unique needs of each young person. Our services include assistance with essential life skills such as budgeting, personal care, and educational or vocational support. We also offer emotional and practical guidance to help residents build confidence and resilience. Whether transitioning from care or seeking stability, our accommodation provides a crucial stepping stone towards independence.

As we move forward with our Ofsted registration, we are committed to maintaining high standards of care, ensuring every young person feels supported, valued, and equipped to thrive in their journey toward adulthood.
