Supported Living (18+)

Structured, flexible support for adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and complex life experiences — promoting independence and community integration across Bedfordshire.

Community-Based Supported Living

Lamora Healthcare provides structured, flexible supported living services for adults aged 18 and over across Bedfordshire. Our supported living model is designed for individuals with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, complex life experiences, and those who require support to live as independently as possible within their community.

As a CQC-registered, nurse-led provider, our supported living services are underpinned by robust clinical governance and person-centred practice. Every support package is individually assessed, developed in consultation with the individual, their social worker, and relevant health professionals, and reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet changing needs.

  • Adults aged 18 and over with mental health needs, including complex or long-term conditions
  • Adults with learning disabilities requiring support to develop independent living skills
  • Individuals with dual diagnoses or complex presentations
  • Adults transitioning from hospital, residential care, or other supported settings
  • Young adults aged 18 to 25 moving on from supported accommodation

Our Supported Living Services

Independent Living Skills

A strengths-based approach to developing practical skills — budgeting, cooking, household management, and using community services — building on what each person can already do.

Tenancy Support

Helping individuals sustain their tenancy, manage correspondence, navigate benefits, and liaise with landlords or housing associations to maintain stable accommodation.

Medication Management

Clinical oversight for individuals with complex medication regimes. Nurse-led protocols with trained staff and prompt escalation of health concerns through our governance framework.

Community Integration

Active support to engage with local community, access education and employment, and build meaningful social networks — recognising that recovery and wellbeing require participation in community life.

Wellbeing & Risk Management

Regular wellbeing monitoring with structured risk assessments and care plans. All staff trained in mental health awareness, de-escalation, and safeguarding adults.
